I should have asked my husband of 3 years 'how he would use his last 100 bucks'

Finances are a top contributor to marital problem, as stated in this site too. Even though my husband and I dated for a good 5 years before we decided to get married, and I really thought I understood and knew how he deals with money, I wish I had asked then how he would spend his last 100 bucks.

We agree about saving, investing and enjoying a bit every now and then, but as it turns out, we have very different views when it comes to security and taking risks. He is totally risk averse and would miss out on a clear and well-thought opportunity so he can keep his money.
