1.Forgiveness

A wise man once said something very powerful about unforgiveness. He said that "unforgiveness is like taking poison and expecting the other person to die." If this message does not hit you in the heart, you need serious help!

It is true, forgiving another is a gift you give to yourself. Not forgiving means you are bitter and whether you like it or nor, you cannot pretend to have forgiven. The other party would know if you have not truly forgiven. It is not enough saying "I have forgiven" - you actually have to act in a manner that suggests 'no hard feelings'.

This, however, does not mean you have to put yourself in the same position as before. You do not have to make yourself available to be hurt again. Learning to strike the balance is not an easy task though... not putting yourself in the position to be hurt again could mean that you have not forgotten...and biblically, we are required to go back and give the person our other cheek for yet another painful slap. You be the judge. Whatever you choose, do not hold on to bitter feelings & thoughts because our thoughts become our words, and our words become our actions - you can never hide unforgiveness and if it shows (which it will), it is eating you up!

"I can forgive but I cannot forget, is only one way of saying, I will not forgive.Forgiveness ought to be like a cancelled note - torn in two, and burned, so that it never can be shown against one." ~Henry Ward Beecher~

2. Ebook launch in October

Our sister site, public-speaking-solutions.com will be launching an ebook towards the end of October.

The ebook addresses common public speaking concerns such as 'fear of public speaking, lack of confidence, shyness, and gives tips on the dos & donts of public speaking.' It also has a section for kids and teaches parents how to motivate their kids without causing arrogance or destroying their self-esteem. This is an ebook you do not want to miss - especially if you have children. Visit www.public-speaking-solutions.com for more information... I will also keep you posted right here!
