HOW TO SAY NO WITHOUT GUILT: SAYING NO WITH CONFIDENCE, ASSERTIVENESS AND WITHOUT GUILT

LEARN TO SAY NO WITHOUT FEELINGS OF GUILT

"HOW TO SAY NO WITHOUT GUILT"

An inability to Say No can be exhausting and depleting for many of us. This inability mainly stems from fear of rejection and ‘they wont like me’ mentality. Here are some things you could do to say No in an assertive yet healthy way:

Learn to be assert yourself. Be assertive. You have to realize that you have a right to your thoughts and your decisions. People who care about you would put you first anyway – they will understand and respect your decision.

Be honest: with yourself then with others

Saying yes and acting no will do neither you nor the other person any good. Be honest with your self first. Your thoughts and actions have to be aligned or you will be having internal confrontations, which isn't healthy at all.

Eliminate fear

Confront the things that make you say yes all the time. As mentioned before, fear is the most important and I think right at the core of being a yes-man. You have to say yes if you are afraid.
