COLLEAGUES RELATIONSHIPS: good co-worker relations is good for business

"Office relationships - the importance and significance of a harmonious working environmnet."

Forget the employer and let's talk about the people you spend at least 8 hrs a day with - your collegues. No, we are not talking about romance at the workplace, I've already talked about that in another article. We are talking about office relations- how you get along/not get along with your colleagues.

Anti-fraternization policies can be bad for wellbeing and business

"Anti-fraternization" policies/or just being unfriendly with each other can do more harm than good

People who have had bad or dysfunctional relationships with their colleagues/co-workers know just how an enjoyable, rewarding job could be turned into a depressing routine when scheming, selfishness, backstabbing and unfriendliness happen among co-workers.

Having wonderful colleagues and forming a good working relationship with them is essential for any one who is to enjoy their work and their time at the office. Colleagues provide support, guidance and solidarity when needed. They have a certain level of understanding of the job and office dynamics that your family and friends do not have. Managers/Leaders have to take it upon themselves to cultivate harmony amongst their team members, for the benefit of the organisation they work for.
